In our guides
AI tools help us research topics, organise sources and produce first drafts. They do not decide what is true. Every guide is edited, fact-checked against named sources and approved by a person before it is published, as set out in our editorial policy.
AI tools can state wrong facts confidently. That is why statistics in our guides must have a named source we have checked, and why we remove any claim we cannot verify.
In client work
We use AI tools to help with analysis and first drafts, for example sorting keyword data or drafting page copy. Anything that goes on a client’s website or Google Business Profile is reviewed by a person first, and the client sees it before it is published.
We also use AI assistants as a measuring tool. Checking what ChatGPT, Google’s AI Overviews and others say about a business is part of our AI visibility tracking.
What we do not do
- Publish AI-generated content without human review.
- Use AI to write fake reviews, testimonials or client stories.
- Present AI-generated statistics as fact without checking the source.
