Corrections policy

Corrections policy.

We try hard to get things right, and we will still get some things wrong. When we do, we want to know, and we fix it.

How to report a mistake

Use the contact form or call 07932 237512. Tell us which page, what you think is wrong, and, if you can, a source that shows the correct information.

What happens next

We check every report. If the page is wrong, we correct it. If we think it is right, we will tell you why. Either way, you will hear back from a person.

How corrections are made

  • Factual errors (a wrong figure, a misquoted source, an outdated platform rule) are corrected on the page, and the page’s update date is changed.
  • Significant errors, ones that could have changed a reader’s decision, are corrected with a short note on the page saying what changed.
  • Minor fixes such as typos, broken links and formatting are corrected without a note.

We do not quietly change a page to hide a mistake that mattered.

Errors about your business

If one of our pages describes your business, product or organisation inaccurately, contact us and we will correct it.
